The photos seems to be taken in Florence and Venice.

Himaruya-san updated his web with a pic of Veneziano and a Fiat-Ansaldo M13/40 tank which was more or less the most used tank by Italian forces in WW2.

It wasn't so bad as a tank with as advantages a diesel engine and a simplicity of production.
Sadly due to how fast the weapon production went it was soon outdated.
The new tanks that followed it were slightly better but although improved the Fiat M14/41 was outdated too soon while the M15/42 tank began being built in 1943... although it was better than the M14/41 only 90 tanks were produced before September 1943 and, after being used in battle against the Germans by the Ariete armored division in Rome, they ended up in German hands and generally used by the German forces in Italy.

Since the entry talk about the fight in Tunisia maybe that's not the best way to represent how things were going between the two... ^_^;;;

It seems the post is about the current condition of EU, whose weight is mostly on Germany's shoulders.

It adds North Italy, although considered incapable, is kind of like a secret top-student since his GDP surpasses the EU average. This, and the fact he's willing to work hard, makes him the most favoured one.
It talks about South Italy also but it doesn't add anything new to his usual profile, saying Spain took care of him, that things for him fell apart after unification, thathe had bad bosses and lost his spirit ending up on relying on whoever helps him even to take out the garbage (I guess this is a reference to Neaples's situation...).
